The Clinton Herald Wednesday January 26, 1977 p. 14 The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in St. John's Lutheran Church for Mrs. Dora Eggers, 92, of Livonia, Mich., formerly of Clinton, who died Tuesday in Detroit. The Rev. Eugene Rall will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Shadduck - Cannon Funeral Home, and from noon until the funeral Friday at the church. Pallbearers will be LeRoy Eggers, John Greve, Jay Lein, Peter Bryant, Fred Meyer and George Kunau. Mrs. Eggers was born in 1884, in Clinton, the daughter of Jens and Anna Jacobsen Asmussen. She married Emil Eggers in 1920 in Clinton. He died in 1950. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. Survivors include one son, Gerald of Livonia; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Petrea Lein of Clinton and Mrs. Anna Holler of Flint, Mich. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
