The Clinton Herald Friday January 9, 1953 p. 13 Mrs. Anna Eggers, 75, 2414 1/2 Garfield St., died at 7:30 a.m. today in Jane Lamb hospital where she had been a patient for 11 days. She had been ill for a year. Funeral arrangements are being made at the Shadduck funeral home. Mrs. Eggers was the former Anna Everhart, daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Schepler Everhart. She was married to John Eggers and they farmed near Andover until his death in 1947, when she moved to Clinton. She is survived by a son, LeRoy of Andover, two grandchildren, and a brother, William Everhart, Mason City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
