SERVICES: 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
CLINTON — Dorothy Louise Allcox, 83,of Clinton, died Monday at Mercy North Hospital.
Private burial will be at a later date.
She was born July 6, 1923, in Clinton to Harold and Martha Thoms Goodsman.
She graduated from Clinton High School in 1941. She married Norbert Allcox on Aug. 18, 1945, in Clinton. He died in 1992.
She was employed as a bookkeeper with McLellan’s, Clinton.
She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for the VFW for 25 years and also served as president. She also was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary for 15 years and American Legion.
Survivors include one daughter, Nanci (James) Brown of Clinton; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Bernice Arvidson of Clinton.
Memorials may be made to the family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, parents, three brothers, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
