Everett W. Godsey, Sr., age 64, of Corbin, KY, formerly of the Quad City area, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 4, 2006, after a short battle with cancer.
He was employed by Heaberlin Supply and was a member of the Barton Chapel Church of God in Corbin. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Cheryl; son Wayne (Kim) Godsey of Low Moor, IA; daughter Nannette (Michael) Brock; sisters Hazel (Earl) Thomas of Colona, IL, Ruby (Jessie) Reeves of KY; brothers Edward of TN, Jimmy and Lonnie of KY, Ova of AZ; granddaughters Paula Godsey of Iowa, Nicoel (Daniel) Graham of Clinton, IA, Alexandra Brock of Corbin, KY; and grandson Mitchell Godsey of Low Moor, IA.
Hart Funeral Home in Corbin, KY, is in charge of all arrangements.
