Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today at Chapman Funeral Home, Wheatland, and from 9 a.m. until the service time Wednesday at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wheatland, on Wednesday.
SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with the Rev. Laird Keever officiating.
WHEATLAND — Wilbert H. Hass, 91, of Wheatland, died Saturday at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Church Cemetery.
He was born Jan 23, 1915, in Wheatland to Johannes and Emma Rathman Hass. He married Elda Berodt on June 5, 1938, in Davenport. She died in 1965.
He was a farmer.
Survivors include daughters, Myrna (Marvin) Ladwig of Chester, Marlo (Ronald) Ferring of Cedar Rapids, Marian (Darrell) Ruggeberg of Lime Springs, Karen (David) Sennett of Swisher; one son, Brian (Karen) of Buffalo; one sister, Hilda Dickel of Wheatland; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Hass of Davenport; one sister-in-law, Inez Hass of Wheatland; 17 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
