SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Garland Gotoski officiating.
DEWITT — Rodney Richard Badtke, 79, of DeWitt and formerly of Charlotte, died Friday at Westwing Place, DeWitt.
Burial will be in Preston Cemetery.
He was born March 24, 1927, in Preston to Paul and Anna Chrabkow Badtke.
He farmed at rural Charlotte until moving to DeWitt in the 1970s.
He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church, DeWitt.
Survivors include a sister, Vivian (Delmar) Giebelstein of Davenport and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
