Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lemke Funeral Home, North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, 439 Third Ave. South, with the Rev. Jen Henry officiating.

CLINTON — Robert L. Goodsman, 84, of Clinton, died Thursday at Mercy North Hospital.

Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kyle, Kevin, James and Joseph Goodsman and Brian and Brad Wall.

He was born Aug. 9, 1921, in Clinton to Harold and Martha Thoms Goodsman. He married Harriet Krebs on March 2, 1947, in Clinton.

He graduated from Clinton High School in 1939.

He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II from 1942 to 1945.

He was a rate analyst with Clinton Corn.

He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, International Order of Odd Fellows and a member of the Moose.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeff Goodsman of Clinton and Kenneth (Patti) Goodsman of Clinton; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two sisters, Bernice Arvidson of Clinton and Dorothy Allcox of Clinton.

Memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Center Dialysis Unit or to Zion Lutheran Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one grandson.

Death Date: June 22, 2006.
