SERVICES: 2 p.m. Friday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mount Carroll, with the Rev. Floyd West, of Pastoral Care at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, officiating.

MOUNT CARROLL, Ill. — Mary Beyer, 86, of Mount Carroll, died Sunday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mount Carroll.

She was born Sept. 18, 1919, in Chicago to Edward and Janet Geary Thomson. She married Edward Beyer in September of 1954 in Chicago.

She worked as a nurse for more than 50 years.

Survivors include two sisters, Janet Hammang of Mesa, Ariz., and Isabel Luschen of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and four nieces.

Memorials may be given to the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in her name.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother.
