Mrs. Anton J. Kunavich, 79, 2121 Camanche Ave., died Sunday in her home.
The Mass of the Resurrection will be said at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Church. A prayer service will prcede the funeral at 9:30 a.m. at the Delaney
funeral home where friends may call today. Members of St. Mary's parish will recite the rosary at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Pallbearers, all grandsons include Edward E. Florin, Fred E. Kalis, James J. Kunavich, Raymond A. Kunavich, Ronald C Kunavich and Robert L. Kunavich.
The former Elsie Magdaline Skeris was born Aug. 15, 1890 in Kuanas, Lithuania, the daughter of Ignatius and Patricia Skeris. She was reared and educated in Lithuania, and came to the United States in 1913. She married Anton J. Kunavich July 14, 1904, in Chicago. She resided in Clinton for the past 66years and was a member of St. Mary's Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband: two sons, Adolph G. and Antone R. both of Clinton, one daughter, Mrs. Edward (Elsie) Kalis of Chicago; nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister Clinton Herald 5/18/1970 Pg. 8
