Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 10 a.m. Friday at Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, preceded by a family prayer service at 9:45 a.m.

MORRISON, Ill. — Florence G. Wiersema, 83, of Morrison, died Sunday at her home.

Interment will be in Fulton (Ill.) Township Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tyson Kullerstrand, Gregg Wiersema, Eric Wiersema, Fred Reedy, Steve Jones, Eric Van Dyke, Todd Kullerstrand and Stanley Boelkens.

Memorials may be made to Sterling (Ill.) YWCA to aid to abused children.

She was born May 7, 1923, in Garden Plain, Ill., to Fred and Bertha Vogel Boelkens.

She was educated at Albany (Ill.) and the Fox grade schools of rural Whiteside County, Ill.

She married Marvin Wiersema on Dec. 1, 1944, in Argo Fay, Ill.

She and her husband farmed in the rural Thomson and Rock Falls, Ill., areas. She then owned and operated Wiersema Charter Service, Morrison.

She was a member of Ebenezer Reformed Church, Morrison, previously member of Bethel Reformed Church, Sterling, and served as a Sunday school teacher. She was a previous member of Spring Valley Reformed Church, Fulton.

Survivors include three daughters, Carleen (Mick) Fisher of Fulton, Carolyn Wiersema of Morrison and Cheryl (Todd) Kullerstrand of Lyndon, Ill.; one son, Larry L. (Jan) Wiersema of Morrison; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ida May Stuart of Morrison.
