Visitation: 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way.
SERVICES: 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Elder Robert F. Jones officiating.
CLINTON — Merle Anderson, 52, of Clinton, died Sunday at Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility.
Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Wayne, Eric and Joshua Johnson, James Mitchell, Robert L. and Robert N. Stearns, Kevin and Michelle Johnson, Doug Anderson, Christy Ryan and Mike and Stephanie Breeden.
He was born Aug. 6, 1953, in Britton, S.D., to Leon R. and Betty J. Storts Anderson Sr.
He graduated from Clinton High School in 1972.
He was employed with IPSCO as a guard; Exelon Quad-Cities Generating Station, Cordova, Ill., Sewer Treatment Plant, PFC and Custom-Pak.
Survivors include one sister, Sharyl (James) Mitchell of Oakville; one brother, Leon “Andy” Anderson Jr. of Hamilton, Ill.; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew.
