Beverly T. Ericksen

Beverly T. Ericksen, 105, living her first 100 years in Clinton, IA, and currently of Davenport, IA, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, at the Kahl Home in Davenport. Visitation will be held Friday, June 2nd, from 4-8pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, June 3rd, at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Clinton.

Burial will follow at the Springdale Cemetery, Clinton. Memorials may be directed to the Kahl Home or to the National Kidney Foundation.

Beverly Thomas was born November 18, 1900, the daughter of Ben and Anna M. (Peterson) Thomas in Clinton. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1918. Beverly was united in marriage to Ole Ericksen on September 11, 1944, in Sterling, IL. She worked as a secretary at the Collis Company for 25 years. Beverly was a member of the Saint Paul Lutheran Church, Miriam Woman’s Group; and the Clinton Women’s Club.

Beverly is survived by her niece Linda Weibel (Harry Stevens) of Menlo Park, CA; her nephew Richard J. Thomas (Rosalie) of Davenport; 2 great-nephews and several cousins.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ole, 1 sister Marjorie Pflanz and 1 brother Ben Thomas.
