Jason Walter Heil, 27, of Charlotte died Wednesday, May 29, 1991, after a farm related accident. Funeral services are 10:30 a.m. today (Saturday, June 1) at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Charlotte, with the Rev. Terry Ellis officiating.
Burial will be in the Rossiter Cemetery, Charlotte. Pallbearers are David Sellnau, Marty Jahn, Keith Ronnfeldt, Adam Adrian, Dennis Grantz, Joe Sparks, and Neil Rickertsen.
Visitation was 3-8:30 p.m. Friday, May 31, at Schultz-McGinnis Funeral Home, DeWitt.
Jason was born May 5, 1964, in Clinton to Curtis and Fawn Camp Heil. He graduated from Northeast High School, Goose Lake, in 1982. He had worked with his father in the family business, Heil Feed and Farm Supply in Charlotte.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on the stewardship committee. He was also a member of the Charlotte Volunteer Fire Department for many years, and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his parents; a sister, Gwen (Mrs. William) Costello of Charlotte; a brother, Lynn of Sedona, Ariz.; his maternal grandmother, Erana Camp of Charlotte; seven nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother and both grandfathers.
