SERVICES: 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
CLINTON — Gary Wagemester, 44, of Clinton, died Monday at Mercy North Hospital.
Cremation rites will be accorded and burial will be in the St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 25, 1961, in Rock Island, Ill.
He had worked with DAC Inc., Maquoketa, and Community Care Inc., Dewitt.
He was a resident at Community Care since 1996 before moving to the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in 2005.
He was honored as grand marshall for Challenge Days, a form of Special Olympics for athletes with severe physical disabilities.
