Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.

SERVICES: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Revs. Dr. Daniel Swinson and Heju Cha officiating.

MORRISON, Ill. — Ronald F. Milnes, 74, of Resthave Nursing Home, Morrison, died Saturday at the nursing home.

Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison, with graveside military honors.

He was born Oct. 14, 1931, in Morrison, Ill., to Clifford F. and Gladys M. Stralow Milnes. He married Virginia Bowen on Feb. 4, 1956, in Morrison.

He was educated in Morrison grade and high schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He worked at the former Nation Tea, Morrison, as a meat market manager, and the former Wilkens Royal Blue, Morrison.

He was a member of Morrison United Methodist Church, Morrison VFW Post 8281 and Morrison American Legion Post 328.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Debra (Rich) Dunaway of Morrison; two sons, Rick Milnes and Dan (Kathy) Milnes, both of Morrison; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
