Services: 2 p.m. Thursday at the Mercy Medical Center Chapel. The Rev. John Stack will be officiating. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
CLINTON — Ivah I. Hulsman, 87, of Clinton, died Wednesday at Mercy North Hospital.
She donated her body to the University of Iowa, College of Medicine, Department of Anatomy.
She was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Fairbank Township, Buchanan County, to George and Hattie Shepherd Wells. She married Richard Hulsman; he died in 1982.
She graduated from Hazelton High School in 1937.
She worked with Mercy Medical Center as a nurse’s aide for more than 16 years.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Roberta (Joseph) Immel of Charlotte and Mrs. Patrica (Len) Henning of Kingsburg, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Mercy Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
