SABULA — Terrill L. “Pete” Franzen, 62, of Tipton, died Thursday at the Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clinton.
Inurnment will be in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery, Sabula.
He was born June 29, 1943, in Sabula to August H. and Iola M. Schmidt Franzen.
He worked as a machinist in local factories.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Becky Batzkiel of Tipton; his father, August Franzen of Sabula; two brothers, Nolan “Buck” Franzen and Gaylen “Jiggs” Franzen; five sisters, Aleda Lohmeier, Mrs. Sharon (Harold) Jess, Mrs. Sandra (Eldon) Jepsen, Lynn Metz and Mrs. Lanelle (Mike) Doermann, all of Sabula; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A general memorial fund has been established in his name.
