Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Lahey Funeral Home, Maquoketa.

SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Norman Hieman officiating.

MAQUOKETA — Sharon L. Beller, 71, of Maquoketa, died Tuesday at the Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa.

Burial will be in the Andrew Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Curtis, Kyle, Keith, Robby, Brian, Bradley, Steven Beller and Jason and Mike Sedlacek.

She was born Sept. 13, 1934, in Burlington to Roy and Lucille Sourwine Bence. She married James A. Beller on Dec. 26, 1952, in Freeport, Ill. He died in 2004.

She graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1953.

She was a master professional dog groomer and owned and operated Shar-Belle Originals, Maquoketa. She was internationally known in the pet industry for her pet products.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Maquoketa, American Baptist Women’s Missions, board member with the Patients Rights Group and VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Maquoketa.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Connie (Jim) Albaugh of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Karen (Steve) Sedlacek of Cedar Rapids; two sons, Thom (Gen) Beller of Elyria, Ohio, and Charlie Beller of Marion; 13 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Marveline Wilson of Brighton.

Memorials are preferred.
