SERVICES: 6 p.m. today at the funeral home with Deacon Bob Head officiating.
MAQUOKETA — Doris Ann Haylock-Freberg, 80, of Maquoketa, died Tuesday at her home.
The body will be cremated following services.
She was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Maquoketa to Verner F. and Ruth Jaynes Haylock.
She graduated from Maquoketa High School and attended the Michael Reese School in Chicago. She then attended the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn., where she received her certification for as a nurse anesthetist.
She was a nurse anesthetist in several hospitals in the Dallas area from 1951 to 2005.
She was a member of the National Association of Nurse Anesthetists with the Texas chapter.
Survivors include one sister, Neta Haylock-Poole of Maquoketa; and one niece, one nephew, seven great-nieces and nephews and nine great-great-nieces and nephews.
