Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton, with a 7:45 p.m. vigil service.

SERVICES: 11 a.m. Saturday at the Prince of Peace Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

CLINTON — Wayne H. “Wiener” Dellit, 82, of Clinton, died Tuesday at the Bluff Terrace Nursing Facility, Clinton.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by the Clinton AMVETS.

Pallbearers will be John and Tom J. Hansen, Allen McClimon, Terry Dellit, Chuck Sager and David Rajcevich.

He was born June 25, 1923, in Clinton to Louis and Anna Theresa Weber Dellit. He married Betty McClimon on June 24, 1947, at St. Mary’s Church, Clinton.

He graduated from Clinton High School in 1942.

He served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II.

He was a member of the Prince of Peace Parish, Loyal Order of Moose, AMVETS and the Fulton (Ill.) Country Club.

Survivors include his wife; two brothers, Ray (Dorcas) Dellit of Clinton and the Rev. Harold (Lucille) Dellit of Fort Dodge; and two sisters, Mrs. Harriet (George) Rajcevich of Fulton and Anna Lou Campbell of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters.
