Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2600 Lincoln Way.

SERVICES: 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Connie Beck will be officiating.

CLINTON — William “Bill” E. Dague, 65, of Clinton, died Sunday at his home.

Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

He was born May 24, 1940, in Clinton to Cecil and Zula Kenworthy Streat Dague. He married Sharon Leighty on Dec. 8, 1973, in Clinton.

He served in the U.S. Army in Oleans, France, from 1963 to 1966.

He retired from the Caterpillar plant in Mount Joy after 26 years. He then transferred to York, Pa., for three more years.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Ernie (Brenda) Dague of Goose Lake, Paul Dague of Maquoketa and Jody (Cyndi) Dague of Clinton; two stepchildren, Eunice Henry of Louisiana and Dan Shirley Jr. of Missouri; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Rosemary Bickford of Maquoketa, Cecile Hansen of Clinton and Viola Streat of Iowa; three brothers, Richard Streat and Jim Streat, both of Clinton and Claude Streat of California.

Memorials may be made to the family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, one sister, one niece and one brother-in-law.
