SABULA — Ella Caroline Kruse Naeve, 87, of Sabula, died Monday.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Law-Jones Funeral Home, Sabula. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
She was born Jan. 5, 1919, to Charles and Mathilda “Tillie” Bell Kruse near Fulton, Ill. She married Orin C. Naeve Sr. in 1938 in Clinton. He died in 1967.
She was educated at Frog Pond Country School near Fulton.
She worked in several nursing homes, hospitals, restaurants and the Sabula Speaker Factory.
Survivors include three sons, Orin (Sheryl) Naeve Jr. of Stillwater, Okla., Richard (Sherri) Naeve of Clinton and Donald (Sue) Naeve of Sabula; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Rathje of Sabula; and one brother, Charles Kruse Jr. of Maquoketa.
Memorials may be given to the family in her name.
