Karen Lee Thiessen Kooi, 67, of Bullhead City, and formerly of Savanna, Ill., died Feb. 19 in Bullhead City.
The Desert Lawn Funeral Home, Bullhead City, was in charge of arrangements.
She was born Feb. 19, 1939, in Clinton to Vernald and Ethel Leonard Thiessen.
She was employed with the Anchor Packing Co. for 30 years.
She retired to Arizona.
Survivors include two daughters, Judi McDaniels of Chino Hills, Calif., and Lisa Kooi Christensen of Long Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Vernal “Toots” Munson of East Moline, Ill., and Penny McGinnis of Savanna; one brother, Max Marsh of Elmwood Park, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name to the Savanna Public Library.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, stepfather and two brothers.
