Robert L. Manning

Robert L. Manning, CPCU, age 79 of Omaha died Thursday, March 2, 2006. Vigil service was held Sunday at 4:00 PM, West Chapel, 7805 West Center Rd., followed by visitation until 6:00 PM. Services were Monday 10:30 AM, St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 6116 Dodge St. Interment Calvary with Full Military Honors by American Legion Post #1. Arrangements by Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler Mortuaries, Omaha.

Robert was born in Clinton, IA, the son of Cecil and Aileen Manning. He married Marilyn “his high school sweetheart and love of his life”. He was a lifelong employee in the insurance industry.

Survivors include: his wife; two sons, William Robert Manning, wife Carol and son, T.C.; Robert Michael Manning; two daughters, Mary Ellen Manning Bozak and husband, Louis, their sons, Robert Owens and wife Dara, and John Owens; Patricia Ann Manning Waters and husband, William, and their children, Laura, Daniel and Katherine; sisters-in-law, Janice Manning, Carol Briggs and Sue Briggs; brother-in-law, Ronald Briggs.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James.

Memorials to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church or VNA Hospice. Special thanks to Pam Green, Hospice R.N., for her comfort and dedication.
