ERIE, Ill. — Maryann Jacobs, 59, of Erie, died Sunday at her home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Gibson Funeral Home, Erie. Burial will be in Erie Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
She was born Aug. 16, 1946, in Sterling, Ill., to Harry and Mary VerVaecke Meier. She married Robert Jacobs on Jan. 9, 1970, in Erie.
She retired from General Electric, Morrison, after 20 years of service.
She was a member of the GEM Club, Morrison.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Traci (Doug) Floming of Erie; three sons, Brian Garrison (Craig Spillman) of Irving, Texas, Brett (Dawn) Garrison of Erie and Jason “Chop” (Connie) Jacobs of Erie; 13 grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Ann Sibley of Prophetstown, Ill.; and two brothers, Art Meier of Prophetstown and Frank Meier of Erie.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Rock River Valley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandchild.
