Will of Denison W. Gardner
The following is the record of the will of Denison W. Gardner of Clinton County and State of Iowa being of sound mind, memory, and understanding do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament hereby revoking and making null and void all former wills and testaments and writings in the nature of last wills and testaments by me heretofore made. My last will is that my funeral charges and just debts shall be paid by my executor hereinafter named, Sarah E. Gardner my executor.
The residence of my estate and property which shall not be required for the payment of my just debs, funeral charges I give and devise to my beloved wife Sarah E. Gardener to have and to hold from and after my decease forever..
In testimony whereof I the said Dennison W. Gardener have hereto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this the first day of Oct. A.D. 1851

Signed sealed and declared by the said Denison W. Gardener to be his last will and testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence have subscribed our names as witness hereto in the presence of each other
