The Clinton Herald Saturday February 2, 1924 p. 3 Itens Give More Land To Schools Frank J. Iten yesterday delivered the deeds and abstracts of lots 1,2,3 and 4, block 7, Hartwood addition to Ringwood, to Business Manager Carstensen for the Clinton Independent school district. These lots are located just east of Hawthorne school and make the Hawthorne school property an entire half block. The property was owned by L.C. and F.J. Iten and is dedicated to the welfare of Hawthorne school. Ten lots adjoining the school had previously been presented to the school district by the Itens.
