The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 20, 1891

Gust Brumer, writing to the brothers at home says the ship on which he sailed, was just putting out from shore, the 14th, as the letter was mailed. He has a cabin in the S. S. Westerland, of the Red Star Line, of the Belgian Royal and U. S. Mail steamers from New Antwerp. He was in a company of five young gentlemen acquaintances, who were going over with him. He is thus on the briny today.
