The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 20, 1891

A jolly party of about thirty friends and neighbors surprised Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Dickinson at their home of Fifth Street Thursday evening, the occasion being their twenty-fifth wedding anniversary of the host and hostess. The visitors made themselves at home and with music, refreshments and dancing passing several hours very pleasantly. On their departure the company left several handsome presents as souvenirs of the occasion.
