Mr. Francis Shaw, who runs the new machine shop on Eighth Avenue in this city has received through the agency of Mr. W. W. Sanborn, letters patent on his improved spring motor, which is to be so arranged as to run vehicles of all kinds including street cars, and it is expected the first trial of the new motor will take place on our street car line soon.
