The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 21, 1876

BURGLARS – A gang of mischievous persons broke into Dr. Ankeny’s boot and shoe store, Richardson’s barber shop and Barton’s meat market on Fourth Street, Monday night, tasking a few razors from the barber shop, and $12 worth of boots from Ankeny’s store. No other goods were missed.
