1896 Flood Victims

My ancestor Mary Dwyer Burke and her grandson, William Burke, died in the May 1896 flood. I am looking for follow-up newspaper articles, obituaries, and burial information. I searched on newspapers.com for a month after the flood. Other than the initial story about their tragic deaths, I was unable to locate any extra information. The N. Iowa Times does not show a digital record. Are microfilm records available for local newspapers in Clayton County for 1896?
