I am looking for any and all types of information on the ASH family.
I have not had a lot of luck with the websites because it seems almost as if they never existed.Here some names and dates and if you can get anything more for my mother and I that would be absolutely perfect and appreciated.
Robert Grover ASH - born January 16 - 1824 and died June 19 - 1903 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
He married Mary Ann BELL December 8 - 1847 in Illiniois.
She was born on July 15 1825 in Ohio and died May 27 - 1917 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.Their Children were:
** George William ASH - died July 21 1932 Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
*** John Edward ASH - died in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.

and she died on January 11 - 1939 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
She is buried int he EDGEWOOD CEMETARY, EDGEWOOD, CLAYTON COUNTY, IOWATheir children are:
Ernest E ASH - born July 1878 in DELAWARE IOWA and died 1971 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Maude ASH - born in 1879 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. died 1893 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Emory C. ASH - born in February 22 1882 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and died May 25 1970 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Clifford G ASH - born March 1889 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and died 1971 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Winifred E Ash ( CULBERTSON ) - was born June 8 1893 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and died January 28 1916 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Annie R ASH - was born 1897 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and she died 1899 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Infant ASH - born 1900 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and died the same year and place*** John Edward ASH ( tombstone says EDWARD ) was born November 28 1850 in Honey Creek Twp, Deleware Iowa and died in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
He is buried in EDGEWOOD CEMETARY, EDGEWOOD, IOWA, CLAYTON COUNTY
He married Elmyra C. ASH ( tombstone says MYRA ) in CLAYTON COUNTY between 1890/1891. She diedn 1930 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.Their children were:
Robert S. ASH - born October 20 1893 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA. and died September 25 1966 in Edgewood, Elk Twp, Clayton County, IA.
Buried in the Edgewood Cemetary.
Goldie ( GOLDIA ) Mary Gladys ASH - born January 13 1896 and died in Cedar Rapids, IOWA on April 12 1975 was buried in the EDGEWOOD Cemetery.I do have more information if you need it but this is a start -
I do also know that Charles Henry ASH had a son named ELDRED ASH that has been named in " The People In Iowa " (c) 1931.
It talks about his life as a Super Intendant of PUBLIC SCHOOLS for NORTH ENGLISH.I guess that I would have to say that some of the dates have been searched for me and I have corrected some mistakes that I have found.
I am doing this for my husband and mother in law. Her Great Grandfather was ROBERT SYLVESTER ASH from EDGEWOOD
Her FATHER was his son MILLARD SYLVESTER ASH who we burried their in EDGEWOOD - SEPTEMBER 16, 1999.Also I think that it may help me out if you could try to distinguish for me the division for the Delaware County and Clayton County of EDGEWOOD ........!
