Parents of Henry Meder were Ludwig (Louis) Meder b. 25 May 1786 in Cantnitz, Bredenfelde, Mecklenburg, d. abt 1853 and Friedericke Suhrbier b. 19 Sep 1797 in Gross Varchow, Mecklenburg. Parents of Friedericke were Friedrich Suhrbier b. 10 Mar 1764 in Marihn, Gross Luchow, Mecklenburg and Dorothea b. 8 Jul 1764 in Lehsten, Gross Varchow, Mecklenburg. The gravesite of Friedericke Suhrbier Meder is Blanchaine cemetery in Volga Township IA 28 NW/NW on Ruegnitz farm.
