Peter Thein and Michael Thein were also in the 27th Infantry during civil
war They were listed from Guttenberg,Iowa which now would be Garber,Iowa.
They are my husband's great Uncle's.there pictures & history are on the
Clayton Co web site.
Also George W Smith from Colesburg,Ia my g grandfather was also in the 27th
infantry as a cook.
