Lost Family

SIMPSONS AND CHRISTOPHERSEN

Am having trouble finding information on my mothers family. I did manage to find a copy of my Greatgrandmothers will but noting else seems to be available. My Greatgrandparents Ole and Mari Simpson came to this country from Norway. We did manage to find the cemetery where they and my grandmother Christine Christophersen are buried. How do I go about finding out when they came to this country. Did they change their names ? Does anyone remember my my mother. Her name was Laurie Christophersen. She went to school in Clayton, McGregor, & Garnavillo. She lived with a family named Frye for a while. I have been searcing for my mothers family for a long time but can't seem to find the elusive Simpsons. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
