Your query indicates that you don't know the names of his parents. They are John & Margaret (Traeger) Ulmann. Married about 1881, they had at least 13 children as of 1900.
Henry's parents are enumerated on the 1885 Iowa State census in Elk twp. To view their entry on the census use the main Clayton co. IAGenWeb page index - click census then 1885 Elk twp.
