I just found my ggg grandmother's second marriage record on familysearch.com. I wanted to know how to get a copy of the certificate, and if there might be an announcement in the paper around Grand Meadow, Clayton Co, Iowa. The date was October 24, 1863. Philena Mather married William Bishop.
I have tried to find where they are buried. She was still alive in 1885 with daughter, Harriet Mather Baldwin, in Lincoln, Mitchell Co, Iowa.
