Thomas & Marie Lenz Papacek

In Response To: researching Tomas & Marie Papacek family (Pam Clift)

Looking for the first marriage of Alvina (Alvena) Papacek (daughter of Thomas (Tomas) Papacek from Bohemia and Marie (Mary) Lenz from Germany, they married in Germany and moved to Chicago, IL. and then moved to Monona, IA. Alvina was born Dec. 8, 1886 (or 1887)and died Sept. 5, 1915.

Alvina had two daughters: Caroline and Esther; have info on Caroline and none on Esther. When Alvina died she was married to Frank Downing. We have a wedding picture of her to Burns or Burke (?) and no other details.

Thomas and Marie had seven children: Anna 'Annie' Papacek (Albert Havelich), Joseph 'Joe' Papacek (Anne), Jacob 'Jake' Papachek (Frances Lestina), Mary Anne Papacek (Arthur Trudeau), Matilda 'Tillie' Papacek (John Williamson), Emma Papacek (Retus 'Pete' Ellenbolt Jr.) and Alvina. Any info on their children would be much appreciated.
