1923 8th grade diploma - Leo Steiert

A friend has found a Clayton County school diploma for Leo Steiert from Elkader. It was between the frame and cardboard of a picture that he has. He is willing to give it to Leo or his relatives if they are interested. Thought there may be some sentimental value.

I looked online hoping to find Steiert in Elkader or Monona as I saw something about a Leo living in Monona at one time and being married to a Helen. It sounds like Helen is 94 years young.

The date given, June 24, 1923, is I believe, when he graduated the Eighth Grade.
