Searching for an obituary for Margarett Ross b. ca 1836 - d. before June of 1870, according to census records.
Michael and Margarett Ross are on the 1856 State census records, Lodomillo, Clayton Co., IA. They were 25 and 20 years old respectively.
Kellion Wetts 51, and Margarett Wetts 50 were in the same household for the 1856 census.

The 1860 Federal Census shows Michael 29, Margaret 24, and Andrew 2 , livng in Lodomillo, Clayton Co., IA.

The 1870 Federal Census shows Michael Ross 39, Anna 32, and Andrew 12 living in Elk Twp., P.O. Elkport, Clayton Co., Iowa .
( Anna's maiden name was Janssen)
The family is on the 1880 Federal Census for Clayton Co., but then came to NW Iowa, except Andrew.
