I have periodically made attempts to find out more on a Charlotte (or Chelotta) Roth(e). She married a Hoppe at one point. I don't know if she ever had any children. But, late in life, she became the third wife of my ancestor, Ernst Menke.

It sounds like you might have already seen this online transcription:

I've never been able to figure out how my Charlotte/Chellota was (or could be) related to the other ROTHs and HOPPEs in Clayton Co.
