Peter and Sydilla Stirmann Roth lived in Guttenberg, Iowa from about 1847 until they moved with most of their family to Carroll County Iowa where they lived the rest of their lives. Peter was born on 8 August 1821 and married Sydilla in 1847. Interested in the date of their marriage which may have occured in Potosi, Wisconsin. Also interested in who his parents might have been as well as any siblings who may have lived in the area. Two of their children remained in the area, Bernadina(b.1851) married a Frank Kipper and lived in Jefferson and Elizabeth(b.1853) married a Frederick Kann.
