Elkader Register, Thur., 21 July 1887.

DIED- At the county asylum for insane, on Sunday last, occurred the death of George Beatty, formerly a resident of Elk township. He was 62 years of age, and many friends in Elk who will regret to learn of his death. His remains were taken to Littleport, Monday, for burial at that place.
