The funeral of Anton Hook of this place was held at St. Joseph's Catholic church this morning at nine o'clock. He died at his home Tuesday after a long illness. Mr. Hook was a Civil War veteran having come to this country from Germany when a young man. He is survived by his wife, one son and two grandchildren. Interment was in St. Joseph's cemetery.
