Guttenberg- Wilhelmina H. "Minnie" Friedlein, 84, died Thursday evening in Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Memorial services: 11 a.m. today, St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The body was donated to the University of Iowa. Burial will be at a later date in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Friedlein of Willmar, Minn.; and two sisters, Martha Halverson of Janesville, Wis., and Dorothy Kinyon of Keosauqua.

Wilhelmina H. "Minnie" Friedlein, 84, of Guttenberg died Thursday night at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
The body was donated to the University of Iowa at Iowa City for medical research.
Memorial services will be conducted by Pastor LaVerne Streich at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be at a later date in Guttenberg City Cemetery.
Minnie Friedlein was born Jan. 3, 1907 in Millville, a daughter of Henry and Caroline (Rodenberg) Friedlein. Miss Friedlein taught in the rural schools and Guttenberg Elementary School for many years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Surviving are a brother, Lawrence of Wilmar, Minn., and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Halverson of Janesville, Wis., and Mrs. Dorothy Kinyon of Keosauqua.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Albert, Henry, Herman and Leonard, and two sisters, Elizabeth Troester and Rosa Valentine.
The Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
