Dr. Harry E. Duwe, a former Guttenberg boy, died at his home in Arlington, Monday afternoon, Oct. 28th, of pneumonia, following the Spanish influenza. He was ill only one week. Dr. Duwe had enlisted in the dental corps of the army and was to have left Monday for the service. He is survived by his wife, formerly Miss Nellie Tuecke of Guttenberg, one so his mother, Mrs. Louise Duwe, and one sister, Mrs. A. H. Borman, of Guttenberg. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon and the remains taken to Guttenberg by auto, passing thru here. Dr. Duwe was highly regarded where he was known and a great sorrow is felt at his untimely death.
