Iowa City Press-Citizen, Friday, 10 Oct. 1969.

Garnavillo-- Two children of Mr. and Mrs. Aloys Berns of rural Garnavillo died Thursday when a barn in which they were playing at their farm home caught fire.

The dead youngsters are Stanley Berns, 4, and his brother Jimmy, 3. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
