Carlton Louis Radloff, age 72, of Mason City, Iowa died Thursday, February 12, 1987 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa. Funeral services were held Monday, February 16 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Waukon, Iowa with Father Edward Lechtenberg officiating. Casket bearers were Dale and David Radloff, James Mathews, P.C. Brinkman, John Campbell and Kenneth Flage. Honorary pallbearers were Leonard Wilkin, Frank Pleggenglass, Lyle Kurdelmeier, Dale Reeder, George Haler, and Henry Loelder. Burial was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery with Hanson Funeral Home in Waukon in charge of arrangements.

Carlton was born August 19, 1914 in Farmersburg, Iowa to Louis A. and Ruth (Mathews) Radloff. He graduated from high school and married Irene Graham October 20, 1943 in Waukon, Iowa. He served in the Air Force during World War II and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Mason City, American Legion Post 40 & 8 military organizations, and the Moose Club. At the time of his death he was fourth district vice-commander of the American Legion. He had lived in Farmersburg, Oelwein, Waukon, Clear Lake, and Mason City, Iowa. He was presently retired.

He was preceded in death by a brother Dwayne Radloff.

He is survived by his wife, Irene and a daughter, Sharon Irene Radloff, both of Mason City, Iowa; a sister, Constance Radloff and 2 brothers, Glenn and Keith Radloff, all of Farmersburg, Iowa.
