Funeral services for Mrs. Julius T. Lange were conducted Sunday, Jan. 27, at the funeral home in Monona. The Rev. Donald R. Corrick, of the Monona Methodist church, was in charge. Burial was in the Giard cemetery.
Anna Jeanette Corlett was born on July 03, 1866, the daughter of John E. and Catherine Crawford Corlett, in Farmersburg township where she spent her girlhood days
As a young woman she graduated from the Normal school at Dixon, Ill., and spent a few years as a teacher.
She was married to Julius T. Lange on Nov. 26, 1896, at the Corlett home in Farmersburg township where they operated the farm for two years. They moved then to Ruthven, Iowa, where for the next 18 years they operated mercantile businesses in Ruthven and Rolfe, Iowa. In 1916 they moved to St. Paul, Minn., and were members of the Methodist church there.
Mr. Lange passed away Nov. 25, 1943. Mrs. Lange was in good health until about three years ago when she entered a sanatorium in St. Paul. In Nov. 1951 she was moved to St. Peter's hospital, and died there Jan. 24, 1952, at the age of 85 years, six months, and 21 days. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, six brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by three brothers, Will B. Corlett of Wichita Falls, Tex.; Cyrus C. Corlett of Belgrade, Montana, and LeRoy E. Corlett of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
